Sanford Coyote Sports Center is introducing a new bag rule requiring see-through tote bags for all games at the Dakota Dome and Sanford Coyote Sports Center. This bag policy aims to enhance security and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
You can bring one clear stadium bag according to the new rules. Acceptable bags include plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags that do not exceed 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches, or a one-gallon plastic freezer bag (like a Ziploc). Additionally, attendees may bring a small clutch, roughly the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap, not exceeding 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches. Chain straps on any bag are prohibited.
All fans and their belongings will be subject to inspection at stadium entrances. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to allow extra time for security checks. Expect entry to begin an hour before events at the Sanford Coyote Sports Center and 1.5 hours before Coyote football games at the DakotaDome. Exceptions will be made for approved medical needs. Medical bags and equipment may be inspected at the gate.
Prohibited items include security purses larger than a clutch bag, backpacks, coolers, solid drawstring bags, camera bags, computer bags and any bags larger than 12" x 6" x 12".
If your bag doesn't follow the new clear bag policy, the venue may ask you to take it back to your car.
